Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two male suspects in a robbery at a supermarket in Kalihi.
At about 6:45 p.m. Oct. 5, police said the suspect entered Times Supermarket and threatened to stab the security guard.
A surveillance video shows the culprit taking a bottle of alcohol from one of the shelves, then heading toward the exit, where the guard confronted him. Police said the suspect struck the guard with the bottle before fleeing. A second suspect then entered the store and pushed the guard away.
Police said that at some point the first suspect returned to the supermarket and allegedly punched and kicked the guard while he was on the ground.
The suspect then fled.
The surveillance video shows the guard being assaulted by the first man and pushed by the second.
