I intently watched the brutal questioning of Judge Brett Kavanaugh by rabid Democrats who oppose his appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. Everything I read indicates that he is probably the most qualified person to be awarded this lifetime position.
One of the most dogged interrogators was U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal. People have probably forgotten his previous claims to have served in Vietnam and of being spat on when he and others returned to the U.S.
Blumenthal never — I repeat, never — served even a minute in Vietnam.
For this fraudulent glory-seeker to attempt to vilify Kavanaugh is beyond belief. My wife and I are both veterans. She served a year in Iraq and we both are disgusted with this display of relentless, needless badgering. It’s painfully obvious that the attack is directed at President Donald J. Trump and not Kavanaugh, who regularly shows patience and an unbelievable knowledge and understanding of our constitution.
It’s time to get over 2016 and get some real work done.
