If the installation of crosswalk signs as noted by Alexis Liftee (“Crosswalk signs nothing new here”, Star-Advertiser, Letters, Oct. 23) were adopted on a wider scale years ago, how many lives would have been saved? The state Department of Transportation had it, but didn’t use it. Sad.
