Waianae man arrested for allegedly choking woman
Police arrested a 36-year-old Waianae man Monday after he allegedly choked and threatened a 34-year-old woman.
The two were engaged in a verbal argument that escalated when the suspect threatened the victim with a knife then choked her with both hands.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
