Skateboarder, 15, seriously injured in Mapunapuna accident
A pick-up truck hit a 15-year-old skateboarder who was crossing the street in Mapunapuna this afternoon, sending the boy to the hospital in serious condition, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m. near the Salt Lake Boulevard, Pukoloa Street and Puuloa Road intersection, police and paramedics said.
