A 19-year-old Crestview man was arrested after he apparently robbed the wrong cellular phone.

Police said a man, 35, reported that he was using his cell phone outside a Waikiki business when a man walked by, assaulted him, and stole his cell phone at about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Using a phone application, the victim was able to inform responding officers of the location of the suspect, who was identified and arrested on Kapahulu Avenue a short time later.

The victim received treatment at the scene for minor injuries, police said.
