Police arrest suspect in Laie burglaries

Honolulu police arrested a 33-year-old man suspected of burglarizing three homes in Laie earlier this month.

Police said the burglaries happened between April 5 and April 7.

Officers located and arrested the suspect at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

I heard from a friend in Laie that they were warned in Church on Sunday to be on the lookout due to a rash of thefts in the area.
