Thieves shatted a large glass window to break into a motorcycle dealership early Friday morning and steal at least two dirt bikes valued at $8,000 each.

Police said the theft happened at about 2:39 a.m. at the South Seas Cycle Exchange on Nimitz Highway.

It’s the second time in a week that the motorcycle dealership near the airport has been burglarized, said Mark Ely, South Seas Cycle Exchange sales manager.

Ely said he still hasn’t completed an inventory and that two more bikes might have been stolen from the store at 3149 North Nimitz Highway.

He said that four bikes were taken in another burglary early Sunday morning.

Ely said anyone with information can call the bike shop at 836-1144.
