Big Island police arrested three people Wednesday on suspicion of marijuana offenses after serving a search warrant at a Waikoloa home.

Police recovered 20 marijuana plants and more than three pounds of dried marijuana. They also seized $330 in cash for possible forfeiture, police said.

Prosecutors charged Nicolasa Sanchez, 34, with promoting a detrimental drug and was released on her own recognizance.

Victor Sanchez III was charged with commercial promotion of marijuana, promoting a detrimental drug and possessing drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting $7,250 bail.

A 30-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of commercial promotion of marijuana, was released without charges.
