Fujikawa wins eGolf Tour Championship by 9 shots

Honolulu’s Tadd Fujikawa shot a final round 4-under-par 68 today to win the eGolf Tour Championship by nine shots.

Fujikawa, 19, a Moanalua High alum, shot four rounds in the 60s (65-64-66-68) to finish at 25-under-par 263 at Spring Creek Golf Course in Gordonsville, Va.

Matt Hendriz shot 69—272 to finish at 16-under 272.

Fujikawa won $25,000 for his first-place prize.

In 12 events on the eGolf Tour, Fujikawa now ranks fifth on the money list with $63,347.72.

Golfers in the top 20 on the money list after today’s event will have their PGA Tour Q-School entry paid for by eGolf — a $4,500 value.
