Man arrested for allegedly possessing credit cards and personal information of visitors

Police arrested a 49-year old man Sunday night on suspicion of unlawfully possessing credit card and personal confidential information and drug offenses. 

He was already in police custody for a third-degree theft case.

Police said the man was being taken to the main station Sunday night on a theft arrest. During an inventory search, police discovered drugs, contraband, credit cards and driver’s licenses of two visitors, a man, 36, and a woman, 34, who had their bags stolen in Honolulu.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of unauthorized possession of personal and confidential information, unlawful possession of credit card and drug offenses.
