SUPER SACK MONDAYS: McDonald’s will contribute $500 to the University of Hawaii Athletics program for every defensive sack on an opposing quarterback made by the Warriors during the 2010 football season. Last year the Warriors recorded 19 sacks, raising $9,500 for UH athletics. Each restaurant will have a display board with the UH football schedule to track the number of sacks by the Warrior defense in each game. $49 MENU AT THE COLONY: The Colony Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa is bringing back its $49 menu, featuring some of its most popular dishes at a discount. The new menu features a trio of starters (California roll sushi, casserole of prawns, and tomato and Maui onion salad); an entree choice of filet mignon, New York strip or macadamia nut chicken breast served with baked potato and steamed asparagus; and a dessert choice of Mango Tango or a chocolate crunch bar.
