The Board of Water Supply is asking Mililani Mauka residents to continue using water only for essential needs as workers continue to address an electrical problem at its primary source for the community.

Limited back-up resources are being used to meet the community’s needs until the repairs are completed.

The BWS has asked that water use be limited to cooking, bathing and personal hygiene.

The advisory originally was issued earlier this weekend, when it was hoped that repairs would be completed Sunday. The board said it would issue a news release when repairs are completed and when water conservation is no longer needed.
