Police investigate injuries to boy, 8
Police opened an investigation for possible first-degree assault after an 8-year-old boy was taken to the hospital yesterday with suspicious injuries.
According to police, the family took the child to the Queen’s Medical Center saying that he had injured himself during a fall in the bathroom. However, the attending physician found the injuries were not consistent with a fall and the police were called.
No suspects have been identified in the case.
