Police renew request for information on missing Big Island woman

    Hawaii County police are asking for the public's help in finding Naomi Sanders of North Kona, who may on Oahu in the Nimitz area near the Honolulu airport.

 

The family of a 42-year-old Big Island woman, missing for two weeks, would like the public to help find her.

Honolulu police received a tip that the woman, Naomi Sanders of North Kona, was possibly spotted on Oahu June 15 in the Nimitz area near the Honolulu airport. She was seen wearing black shorts and a blue T-shirt, Big Island police said.

Big Island police are renewing their request for assistance in locating Sanders.

She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-3, 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

She has a tribal print tattoon on her upper right arm in the shape of an arm band.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Dean Smith at 326-4646, ext. 262, or the non-emergency police line at 935-3311.

Anonymous calls may be made to CrimeStoppers at 961-8300 or 329-8181.
