Police are searching for two women and a man suspected of taking a wallet, cell phone and a rental car from a man living on a boat at Sand Island.
Police said the trio went to the man’s boat just after midnight Sunday looking for the sister of one of the suspects.
One of the women grabbed a box cutter and a kitchen knife and allegedly demanded property from a 73-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman on the boat, police said. The three suspects then drove off in a car rented by the 73-year-old man.
