Man, 90, is missing
Police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a man last seen at Ala Moana Beach Park Wednesday afternoon.
Missing is Tai King Loo, 90, who is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a white jacket, purple pants with white stripes and pink Crocs.
Loo, who uses a walker, suffers from Alzheimer’s and might be disoriented.

Salt Lake man charged in machete attack
A 24-year-old Salt Lake man is being held on $75,000 bail after being charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident in Kalihi earlier this week.
Police said McNeil Valencia drove to a home on Eluwene Street just before 11 p.m. Wednesday and met with a group of friends. He then allegedly confronted another man, 23, and accused him of stealing from him, police said.
Valencia pulled out a machete and sliced the victim on his ear, face and collarbone, according to a neighbor who spoke to Hawaii News Now.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
