Irons heads Hawaii Hall of Fame inductees
Three-time ASP world champion surfer Andy Irons heads up a class of three watermen who will be enshrined in the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame next May.
Kayaking and surfing pioneer George Downing and Samuel Alapai Kahanamoku, a bronze medalist in the 100-meter freestyle in 1924, will also be inducted at a banquet May 18 at Honolulu Country Club.
