Fire damages bedroom of Kailua house
Firefighters were investigating the cause of a small fire in Kailua Tuesday night that damaged one bedroom in an Enchanted Lake home.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire at 553 Pauku St., said Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig.
Four people live at the home, but only two were home at the time, Seelig said. No one was injured in the blaze, which was reported at about 8:15 p.m., and firefighters called the American Red Cross to assist the residents with accommodations because smoke traveled throughout the house, he said.
