Quarterback Larry Tuileta completed 13 of 14 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, and third-ranked Punahou handed Damien (0-1 ILH, 3-1) its first loss of the season in a 28-0 Buffanblu victory on Saturday at Aloha Stadium.
After losing a fumble on its opening possession, Punahou (2-0, 3-1) scored on its next four drives. Tuileta completed a 52-yard pass to Keanu Chee to set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Ryan Tuiasoa to open the scoring.
The Buffanblu then needed just two plays to cover 87 yards, with Tuileta connecting with Dylan Combs for 61 yards and with Noah Willey for a 26-yard touchdown pass. On his final toss of the afternoon, Tuileta lofted a 45-yard touchdown pass to Kanawai Noa on fourth and 18.
Tuileta was replaced by Luke Morris midway through the second quarter. Morris completed his first three passes for 53 yards and led Punahou to another touchdown before halftime, a 3-yard run by Kotoni Sekona.

Makoa Camanse-Stevens threw for a career-high 202 yards and the Warriors reached the end zone on five of their first six possessions in rolling past the Wolfpack.
Camanse-Stevens completed 11 of 16 passes, threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more as the Warriors improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in ILH play.
Camanse-Stevens opened the game by leading the Warriors on a nine-play drive capped by a 4-yard touchdown pass to Nick Young for Kamehameha’s first score.
He finished Kamehameha’s next drive with a 13-yard scoring run and punctuated the first half with a 38-yard touchdown pass to Nephi Stevens to give the Warriors a 35-0 halftime lead.
The Warriors picked up 244 yards on the ground, led by Kaulana Apelu, who rushed for 78 yards and a score before the break. Camanse-Stevens added a 4-yard touchdown run on Kamehameha’s first drive of the third quarter.
Kamehameha racked up 462 yards in total offense, while the Warriors’ defense held Pac-Five (0-2, 1-4) to 130.
