Aviation Museum hosts benefit gala
Join the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor in celebrating its sixth anniversary at the "It’s in the Air" fundraising gala from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 6.
Guests will be greeted at the door of Hangar 37 with aircraft, vintage military vehicles and re-enactors dressed in period costumes. The event also will honor the Military Affairs Council, an affiliate of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, with the museum’s Building Bridges Award recognizing individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions toward bringing together the civilian and military communities.
The STEM Education Award wil be given to the Marguerite Gambo Wood Foundation for its achievements in educating Hawaii’s youth in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math.
