Puppy breeder pleads no contest to 153 counts of animal cruelty

David Lee Becker, former manager of a Wai­ma­nalo dog breeding facility that had its animals seized due to filthy conditions, pleaded no contest to 153 counts of animal cruelty in state court Tuesday. David Lee Becker pleaded no contest Tuesday to 153 counts of animal cruelty for his role as manager of a Wai­ma­nalo dog breeding facility. Becker conferred with his lawyer, Tae Won Kim, in the courtroom of Judge Glenn Kim on Tuesday at Circuit Court in downtown Hono­lulu.
