Brush fire chars four acres on Maui
Maui firefighters battled a brush fire that burned about four acres near the Wailea Pualani subdivision Monday.
The fire was first reported at 11:17 a.m. and firefighters were able to bring it under control by 11:40. The fire was extinguished at 1:36 p.m, the fire department said.
No injuries were reported and no structure were damaged. The cause of the fire could not be determined.
