Chaminade men roll past Academy of Art

Lee Bailey and Bennie Murray scored 19 points each to power Chaminade to an 83-70 men’s basketball victory over Academy of Art at McCabe Gym on Wednesday night.

Aaron Anderson shared game-high honors with 19 points for the Urban Knights (3-9, 1-4 Pacific West Conference).

De’Andre Haskins came off the bench to add 14 points and seven rebounds for the Silverwords (6-7, 3-2).

Academy of Art stomps Chaminade women

Sha’Nice Storey went 11-for-16 from the floor, including 8-for-13 on 3-pointers, to lead Academy of Art to a 91-49 women’s basketball victory over Chaminade at McCabe Gym on Wednesday night.

Zoie Sheng had four steals and eight assists for the Urban Knights (12-3, 5-0 Pacific West Conference).

Shana Kawakami and Rhani Kaneaiakala had 10 points each for the Silverswords (1-9, 1-4).
