>> Dixie State (Utah) senior DJ Andrade (Damien ’09) hit .444 (4-for-9) with two doubles, four runs and three RBIs, and Bryson Kenolio (Kamehameha ’10) had two hits, scored twice and drove in three runs to help the Storm win three of four against Cal State Los Angeles over the weekend to open the season.
>> Puget Sound sophomore third baseman Kaulana Smith (Kamehameha ’11) singled and scored six runs in a three-game series sweep of St. Martin’s (Wash.) that ended Sunday. Freshman Nickolas Alarcio (Mid-Pacific ’12) walked and drove in a run for the Loggers.
>> La Verne designated hitter Dylan Leong (Punahou ’09) went 4-for-5 with a run and an RBI in the Leopards’ 6-0 win over Linfield (Ore.) last Thursday.
>> Willamette (Ore.) catcher Tiras Koon (‘Iolani ’11) went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI, and Rolenn Himuro (Punahou ’11) singled in his only at-bat as the Bearcats swept a doubleheader against Austin (Texas) on Saturday.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
>> Baruch (N.Y.) College junior Matt Feldman (Punahou ’10) made all three 3-point attempts and finished with nine points, one assist and one steal in a 70-67 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology last Wednesday. With one game remaining in the regular season, Feldman leads the Bearcats with 45 steals and is shooting 89 percent from the free-throw line.
>> La Verne guard Jourdan Simmonds (‘Iolani ’11) had six points, three assists, two steals and two rebounds and Josiah Sukumaran (‘Iolani ’11) had two points off the bench of a
76-68 loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday.

>> Indiana junior forward Milika Taufa (Lahainaluna ’10) had 11 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a block in 23 minutes off the bench of a 65-53 loss to Wisconsin on Sunday.
>> Cal State Northridge senior forward Violet Alama (Kalani ’09) had her third straight double-digit rebounding game, finishing with nine points and 10 boards before fouling out of a 70-63 loss to Long Beach State on Saturday.
>> Washington State freshman guard Lia Galdeira (Konawaena ’12) scored a game-high 19 points on
8-for-14 shooting with four rebounds, three steals and a block, and Dawnyelle Awa (Konawaena ’12) added two points, four assists and a steal in an 80-65 loss to UCLA on Sunday.
>> Utah senior guard Iwalani Rodrigues (Kalani ’08) had 14 points, five rebounds and five assists in a 67-47 win over Oregon on Friday. Rodrigues totaled 18 points, six rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two steals in a 66-40 win over Oregon State on Sunday.
>> Willamette (Ore.) sophomore guard Daena Mau (Punahou ’11) had five points and two rebounds off the bench, and starter Julia Brand (Punahou ’11) had two points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal in a
59-54 win over Pacific Lutheran on Friday.

>> Oregon State junior David Fink (‘Iolani ’09) shot a career-best 9-under 207 to finish in a tie for second place at the Amer Ari Invitational that ended Friday. It’s the second consecutive second-place finish for Fink, who hadn’t placed in the top five in any of his previous 22 tournaments. His 9-under total is the sixth-lowest score in a three-day tournament in school history. UCLA freshman Lorens Chan (‘Iolani ’12) finished in a tie for 42nd place at 1 over.
>> San Diego freshman Alex Chiarella (Seabury Hall ’12) rebounded from an opening-round 81 with rounds of 1 under and even par to finish in a tie for 13th place at 8-over 224 at The Farms Intercollegiate Invitational in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. San Francisco junior Alika Bell (Kamehameha ’10) finished at 20 over.
>> Claremont-Mudd-Scripps junior Bradley Shigezawa (Punahou ’10) finished in a tie for 18th place at 10-over 226 in the CSU San Marcos Invitational that ended last Tuesday.
WOMEN’S GOLF
>> Oregon sophomore Cassy Isagawa (Baldwin ’11) fell 12 spots into a tie for 14th place after a 76 put her at 5-over 147 heading into today’s final round of the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge in Eugene, Ore. Pepperdine freshman Marissa Chow (‘Iolani ’12) is in a tie for 49th place at 12 over after shooting a 76, and Washington sophomore Cyd Okino (Punahou ’11) sits in a tie for 69th place at 18 over. Pepperdine sophomore Alina Ching (Punahou ’11) is a shot behind Okino at 19 over after shooting 79.
>> Portland State senior Britney Yada (Waiakea ’09) shot a final-round 5-over 77 to finish in a tie for 10th at 19 over at The Gold Rush tournament hosted by Long Beach State on Tuesday. Gonzaga sophomore Alice Kim (University ’11) finished tied for 23rd place at 23 over.

>> Arizona State senior Kahoku Palafox (Maryknoll ’08) earned second place on the uneven bars with a score of 9.825 and finished with a 9.750 on the beam in a loss to Oregon State on Friday.
>> UC Davis sophomore Tiana Montell (St. Joseph ’11) earned a 9.725 on both the vault and uneven bars and a 9.675 on beam in a quad meet on Sunday against UCLA, Washington and Sacramento State.
>> Cornell junior Mackenzie Sato (‘Iolani ’10) earned a 9.550 on the floor in a quad-meet victory over Brockport, Cortland and Ithaca on Saturday.

>> Washington sophomore Kimberlee Souza (‘Iolani ’11) had four hits, including a home run, and finished with three runs and two RBIs to help the Huskies go 4-2 and win the Paradise Classic on Saturday.
>> East Carolina junior infielder Kristi Oshiro (Mililani ’10) hit .500 (8-for-16) with two triples and six runs scored to help ECU go 2-3 in the Pirate Classic over the weekend. Catcher Kai Clark (Kapolei ’09) went 3-for-12 with a double, home run and three RBIs, and junior Chelsea Kaluhiokalani-Glackin (Saint Francis ’10) had two hits, scored once and drove in a run for the Pirates.
>> Florida State junior Courtney Senas (Mililani ’10) had two hits, scored twice and stole three bases to help the Seminoles finish 4-0 in the Panhandle Invitational over the weekend.
>> Utah State sophomore Nicole Arata (Campbell ’11) went 3-for-12 with two runs and two RBIs in five games in the Red Desert Classic over the weekend.

>> Concordia-Irvine freshman Chad Barretta (Hawaii Baptist ’12) picked up seven kills, three digs and an ace in a three-game sweep over Hope International on Friday. Hope freshman Jared Shirai (Kaimuki ’01) recorded five digs, and sophomore Matt Heirakuji (Kamehameha ’11) had three digs in the loss.
>> Graceland freshman DJ Wong (Kohala ’12) finished with 12 kills, seven digs and an ace in a four-set win over Hannibal-LaGrange on Friday. Senior Matt Nakandakari (Mid-Pacific ’09) racked up 10 kills and three digs in the win. Libero Bronson Sagon (Mililani ’09) added three digs and an assist for Graceland, while freshman Chris Roxburgh (Kohala ’12) recorded pairs of digs, blocks and aces.

>> Cal Lutheran senior Jane Galluzzi (Punahou ’08) scored a goal, and sophomore Kehau Ai (Kamehameha ’11) had four steals in an 18-3 loss to UCLA on Saturday.
>> Redlands senior Moana Tuipulotu (Lahainaluna ’09) scored three times in a 12-8 loss to Concordia-Irvine and two more in a 6-3 loss to Pomona Pitzer during the La Verne mini tournament on Saturday.
>> Occidental senior Nanea Fujiyama (Kamehameha ’09) had three goals and three steals, and sophomore Koral Gill (Lahainaluna ’11) had an assist and a steal in a 10-8 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday at the Coyote mini tournament. Fujiyama scored four more goals with four steals, and Gill had one goal, one assist and one steal in an
11-5 win over Fresno Pacific.
>> Harvard senior Aisha Price (Punahou ’09) had five assists and a goal, and Shayna Price (Punahou ’10) had three assists, two steals and a goal in a 19-4 win over Villanova on Sunday.
