Social media activities by Bank of Hawaii got the institution ranked among the top 30 in the U.S. and within the top 100 worldwide.
The “Retail Banking Social Media Power 100” list places Bankoh at No. 29 in the U.S. and at No. 67 in the world, based on its level of social media engagement.
The Financial Brand and Social Media Explorer created the ranking, evaluating financial institutions’ level of social media engagement including “likes” on Facebook, the highest Facebook engagement rate; most Twitter followers, most Tweets sent and most Twitter accounts followed; the most YouTube video views and the most YouTube subscribers.
Bank of Hawaii was the only Hawaii financial institution included in the ranking.
