THIS WEEK’S SYNOPSES
"That Winter, the Wind Blows"
Episodes 5 and 6
Today, 6:45 p.m.: Oh Soo forgets Hee-joo’s (Hee-sun’s sister) memorial day and instead takes Young to a picnic on the beach. Moo Chul gives Oh Soo poison and threatens him to either take it himself or give it to Young.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Hee-sun sees Soo and Young sleeping together in Young’s bed. Furious, she tells Young that Soo is a con man who approached Young for her money. Young goes out on a date with Myung-ho, where she calls Soo and tells him that it’s the perfect time for him to kill her.
"Queen of Ambition"
Episodes 21 and 22
Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Da-hae asks Tae-il if he’s hiding anything from her, but he tells her no. Da-hae tells Do-kyung that Chairman Baek killed Ji-mi’s husband. She threatens Do-kyung to finance Tae-il’s campaign if she doesn’t want the world to find out her father is a murderer. Ha-ryu gets suspicious about the mysterious circumstances regarding Ji-mi’s husband’s death and decides to investigate.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: When Tae-il is elected the president, he announces his wedding to Da-hae. Soo-jung resents her father for his poor decision. After becoming the first lady, Da-hae publishes an autobiography about her poverty-stricken childhood.
"My Love, Madame Butterfly"
Episodes 45 and 46
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Once Woo-jae finds out that Chairwoman Choi is his mother, he lets her know in no uncertain terms that he’s not happy about it. Chairwoman Choi finds Moon Hyun-shik and gets all the evidence he has on Sul-ah. She passes this evidence on to Jung-wook. She knows that Jung-wook was trying to keep him from her son, but lets him off easy. She puts everything in place, including getting Woo-jae nominated president of the department store, and then leaves.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: When Sul-ah finds out that Jung-wook has evidence to put her back in prison, she chases him, trying to get her hands on the evidence. On the way to Chan-gi’s wedding, Jung-wook and Shin-ja get into a car accident and both end up in comas. Sul-ah, who was there when the accident happens, walks away with what she thinks is the evidence and without calling for help. The doctors can’t guarantee if either Jung-wook or Shin-ja will live. The whole family rushes over to the hospital when they find out about the accident.
"Incarnation of Money"
Episodes 15 and 16
Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Bi-ryung pours out her heart to Cha-don over a drink and finds comfort in his company. To bring Hwa-sool over to his side, Jae-gyu tells Hyuk, his son, to seduce Jae-in and eventually marry her.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m: Se-kwang is suspicious about Cha-don. Se-kwang invites Cha-don for a drink in his office, and takes the cup Cha-don used to run a DNA test with Lee Kang-seok’s blood sample. Ji-hoo gets a call that Hwang Jang-shik’s murderer is turning himself in. But when she arrives at a location to arrest the culprit, she only finds a laptop containing a video file.
