Homeless man held in stabbing incident
Police have a 36-year-old homeless man in custody suspected of stabbing two other homeless men early Friday morning in the Kapahulu area.
Emergency Medical Services said the two victims, ages 50 and 53, were taken to the hospital at 12:28 a.m. The 50-year-old victim was in serious condition, while the 53-year-old man was transported in stable condition. Both victims had stab wounds, EMS reported.
The three men had been arguing when the incident occurred at 12:20 a.m. in front of the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, police said. The suspect was arrested on two counts of first-degree assault.
2 suspects sought in Kalihi robberies
Police are looking for two men who police say robbed a nightclub and a liquor store Friday morning in Kalihi.
The nightclub robbery occurred at 3:30 a.m. at Dillingham Plaza, The second incident occurred three hours later at a liquor store in the 1300 block of North King Street.
The two men wore white masks. One was reported to have used a chrome handgun. The men were last seen on foot near Farrington High School at 6 a.m.
Man knocked down and robbed in Pahoa
A 23-year-old homeless Big Island man was charged with assaulting and robbing a 59-year-old Pahoa man.
Fred I. Silva was charged with four counts of contempt of court, second-degree robbery, third-degree assault and fourth-degree theft. His bail was set at $27,000.
Puna police said the victim was walking in Pahoa at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when the suspect allegedly kicked him, knocked him to the ground and stole his backpack.

Man charged with robbing bank in Hilo
Hawaii island police have charged a man with the robbery of Central Pacific Bank on Wednesday afternoon in Hilo.
On Friday, 61-year-old Lelome Kahaualoa Rogers, who has no permanent address, was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree theft. His bail was set at $70,000.
He remains at the Hilo police cellblock pending his initial court appearance, scheduled for Monday.
