OHA condo plan clears hurdles in Senate

OHA LAND USE
The state Office of Hawaiian Affairs got an endorsement from two Senate committees to develop housing on three parcels (red) it owns in Kakaako Maka, while OHA's six other parcels (green) would keep their existing zoning for commercial use. The height limit for residential buildings on the two parcels fronting Ala Moana Boulevard would be raised from 200 feet to 400 feet under a bill passed Wednesday.
