A 60-year-old woman crashed a sports utility vehicle into the Hawaii Kai branch of Bank of Hawaii Monday morning.

Honolulu police said the woman told officers that she accidentally stepped on the car’s accelerator, sending the SUV through the plate glass window of the bank branch at Koko Marina Shopping Center.

The driver was not injured. A bank official said one employee received minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Two customers were also treated at the scene, according to police.

Police said the accident was reported at 9:23 a.m. at the bank branch at 7192 Kalanianaole Hwy.

Bank of Hawaii officials planned to reopen the branch at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

On Aug. 6, 2013, three women were injured when a car crashed through the front plate-glass window of the Hawaii Kai Post Office. The crash was the third at the post office. Concrete posts were installed outside the northeast side of the building after a vehicle went through the plate-glass windows in 2007 and again in 2009.

No one was injured July 11, 2012, when a man accidentally drove his car through a wall and window at the Longs Drug store in the Hawaii Kai Shopping Center.
