Snail slows radio transmission repairs

Concern for the habitat of the endangered Hawaiian tree snail Achatinella mustelina, which lives 4,025 feet up Oahu’s highest mountain, is delaying repairs to a power line serving Hawaii Public Radio’s transmitter on Mount Kaala.
