Hawaii rallies for 3-2 win over UC Irvine in volleyball

Junior hitter Tai Manu-Olevao put down a career-high 21 kills and Hawaii rallied from down 0-2 to pull out a critical Big West volleyball match Friday night  21-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-7 at UC Irvine.

Junior middle Olivia Magill added 17 kills and was in on nine of the 17 blocks for the Rainbow Wahine (15-5, 7-2 Big West). Sophomore hitter Nikki Taylor and freshman hitter Kalei Greeley both had 10 kills and senior Sarah Mendoza, who started off at libero and moved to defensive specialist, finished with 20 of the 104 digs as Hawaii won a five-setter for the first time in three attempts this season. 

Alison Lee and Cassidy Pickrell led the Anteaters (15-9, 5-4) with 16 kills each. Libero Arden Davis had 31 of the 104 digs for UCI
