Firefighters extinguished a fire that damaged about $1,000 worth of roofing materials stacked on an apartment building roof Wednesday night in Wahiawa.
Fire Capt. David Jenkins said the fire was atop the roof of a two-story building, 12 Kukui St.
It was initially reported at 8:22 p.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters arrived in three minutes and had the blaze under control at 8:33 p.m. and extinguished at 8:42 p.m.
