Police on Wednesday released without charges a 34-year-old man suspected of stabbing a 28-year-old woman and her two young children at their Kalihi home.
Brandon K. Lorenz was arrested 4:15 p.m. Monday on suspicion of three counts of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree burglary.
The stabbings occurred at about 5:20 a.m. Monday.
Police said 4 p.m. Wednesday that Lorenz was released without charges pending further investigation, and that the case is ongoing.
