The bright, swirling colors of a shave ice truck against the snowy, gray skies of a New Hampshire winter drew the attention of Kaneohe residents Brian and Lori Bianchin, who visited the state in March. Though the Maui Wowee Shave Ice truck was closed, the Bianchins were able to read the menu of possible toppings. No li hing was listed, but chopped pickles looked intriguing, they said.
