LAS VEGAS » A former Nevada beauty queen who was stripped of her Miss Nevada USA title in 2006 has been charged with allegedly selling and possessing methamphetamine.

Katherine Nicole Rees was charged Monday with four felony drug charges.

The criminal complaint accuses Rees of allegedly selling meth to an individual on Sept. 22 and possessing 5.3 grams of the drug a month later.

Rees has faced mostly traffic-related legal troubles since losing her Miss Nevada USA title after racy photos of her surfaced online.

In 2008, she paid fines for several misdemeanor traffic violations. An attorney representing Rees in an open traffic case said he wasn’t representing her in this case and couldn’t comment.

Court records show she pleaded guilty in 2012 to a single misdemeanor drug charge.
