The city Medical Examiner’s Office said Thursday that a 49-year-old man who was found unconscious Wednesday morning apparently jumped from a parking garage in downtown Honolulu. 

Police said Emergency Medical Services was called, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner’s Office said the man died from blunt force injuries and determined that the death was due to suicide.

The incident occurred 9:22 a.m. Wednesday. 

There were no suspicious circumstances or evidence of foul play, police said. 

An autopsy will be performed Thursday to determine the cause and manner of death.
