Firefighters search for source of smoke at UH-West Oahu
Firefighters were searching for the source of light smoke at the University of Hawaii West Oahu Tuesday night.
Fire Capt. David Jenkins said the smoke was reported at 7:33 p.m. in a three-story building that houses a cafeteria and classrooms, but no active fire could be immediately found.
Eight companies and 27 personnel were dispatched to 91-1001 Farrington Highway.
Jenkins said firefighters were using thermal imaging cameras to investigate.
