Five Hawaii Pacific players scored in a 5-0 victory over Academy of Art in a men’s soccer match Saturday at Atherton Field.
Sven Koenig (16:34), Josch Cuerten (17:10), Erik Keemsies (54:16), Javier Risco Garcia (63:20) and Nahoa Salera (82:42) scored for the Sharks (3-2, 1-0 PacWest).
The Urban Knights dropped to 2-2-1, 0-1.

Zoller lifts UHH women to victory
Abcde Zoller scored at the 78:43 mark off an assist from Tiani Teanio as the Hawaii Hilo women’s soccer team defeated Notre Dame de Namur 1-0 at Hilo.
Kayla Clarke made seven saves for the Vulcans (2-0-2, 2-0 PacWest).
The Argonauts fell to 0-5, 0-1.

Garcia scored at 22:52 and Schiller’s goal came at 69:52 for the Sunbirds (3-2, 0-1).
HPU topples Dominican in 5 sets
Kasey Thompson and Elizabeth Culpepper each had 14 kills and Pomai Recca added 13 as the Hawaii Pacific volleyball team outlasted Dominican 25-15, 21-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-8 on Saturday at St. Andrew’s Priory gym.
Tenika Wentworth had 52 assists for the Sharks (9-3, 4-0 PacWest).
Aimee Steinwand finished with 17 kills for the Penguins (3-7, 0-4)
>> Kathleen Collette Kalougata had 12 kills and Leilani Adolpho added 11 as Brigham Young-Hawaii beat Academy of Art 25-9, 25-17, 25-16 at Cannon Activities Center.
Ying Chun Chen finished with 36 assists and five blocks for the Seasiders (5-6, 3-0 PacWest).
The Urban Knights dropped to 4-8, 0-4.

Sienna Davis finished with 44 assists for the Vulcans (4-2. 2-1). Keani Passi had 21 kills for the Silverswords (10-2, 3-1).
HPU sweeps at BYUH Invitational
The Hawaii Pacific men’s and women’s cross country teams both won titles during the BYU-Hawaii Invitational on Saturday at BYUH’s soccer field.
The Sharks men, who placed seven runners in the top 10, finished with 22 points. HPU’s Jacob Alplund won the 8K race in 27:47. Brigham Young-Hawaii (42) finished second and Chaminade (71) placed third.
The HPU women had six runners in the top eight and finished with 17 points. The Sharks’ Johanna Apelryd won the 5K race in 19:50. HPU was followed by BYU-Hawaii (44), UH (80), Hawaii Hilo (105) and Chaminade (132).
