Police are asking for the public’s help in catching the suspect or suspects in the beating death of a 59-year-old man in a Mililani Mauka shopping center.

Police said 59-year-old Martin Luippold suffered head injuries from an assault at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a shopping center at 95-1830 Meheula Parkway.

Luippold died at a local hospital several hours later, police said.

CrimeStoppers released information on the incident today.
