$6M bond set for Ohio man accused of killing his 2 sisters
CINCINNATI » A young man charged with fatally shooting his two teenage sisters and injuring a teenage boy as the trio sat in a minivan in the backyard of a suburban Cincinnati home has had his bond set at $6 million.
Court records show a Hamilton County Municipal Court judge set the bond today for 21-year-old Matthew Hayden.
Hayden is charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. His attorney hasn’t returned a message seeking comment.
Police say Hayden surrendered when officers arrived at the Colerain Township home after getting a 911 call about a shooting there Wednesday morning. Investigators allege Hayden fired a handgun repeatedly at the van.
Court records identify the victims as Elizabeth and Sarah Hayden and Joshua Hacker.
Authorities haven’t commented on a possible motive.
