UCLA's Ka'imi Fairbairn celebrates his 60-yard field goal to end the first half during an NCAA college football game against California on Thursday in Pasadena

UCLA placekicker Ka’imi Fairbairn was named the Pac-12 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for a school-record 60-yard field goal against California, the conference office announced today.

Fairbairn, a senior and Punahou School graduate, made good on all four field goals and scored 16 points in the nationally-televised 40-24 victory.

The 60-yarder is the longest in the Football Bowl Subdivision this season and ranks as the longest field goal ever in a Pac-12 Conference game, the conference office said.

Fairbairn has converted on 13 of 14 field goal attempts this season and all 28 extra point attempts. Thirty seven of his 50 kickoffs have gone for touchbacks.
