Hawaii chef Alan Wong is bringing Hawaii Regional Cuisine to the Chinese city of Macau next year, opening an Alan Wong’s restaurant in the new Studio City entertainment center.

Wong joins a roster of internationally acclaimed chefs, including Alain Ducasse, Pierre Herme, Hidemasa Yamamoto and Tam Kwok Fung opening at the complex, Studio City said in a news release Monday.

A grand opening gala, featuring a dinner prepared by all the chefs, is set for Tuesday.

Wong opened his first restaurant on King Street in 1995 in Honolulu. He also owns the Pineapple Room in Ala Moana Center.
