A woman was taken to Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition after she was struck by a delivery truck next to the hospital this morning.

At about 6:03 a.m., police said a Pepsi delivery truck was backing up on Miller Street when the vehicle struck the woman, 59, who was on the roadway at the time. Her wheelchair was on the sidewalk near the street entrance of the hospital’s emergency room at the time of the accident.
