Man arrested for allegedly stealing bags left on beach
A 38-year-old Nanakuli man is in custody after he allegedly stole bags belonging to two people at a beach near Nanaikapono Elementary School.
Police said the incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The bags were left unattended on the beach by 36-year-old woman and 35-year-old man.
The victims later identified the suspect and called police. He was arrested on two counts of second-degree theft.
