An 84-year-old man died Thursday after being struck by a car on Farrington Highway near Waianae’s Tamura Super Market on Wednesday afternoon. The Medical Examiner’s Department identified him as Francisco Molina of Waianae.
Police said Molina was crossing Farrington Highway in front of the market outside of a crosswalk at 1:50 p.m. when he was hit. Speed and alcohol were factors in the accident, police said.
