Nineteen local models will compete to represent Hawaii during the second annual Top Model Hawaii competition. One man and one woman will be chosen from a field of eight men and 11 women for the chance to represent Hawaii and the United States in the Top Model Worldwide Finale taking place in London in April.
The local competition will take place 6 to 10 p.m. tomorrow at the Ko‘olau Grand Ballroom, with contestants participating in swimwear, casual wear and formal attire categories.

Nordstrom partners with ‘The City’ star to launch collection
Nordstrom has launched an exclusive collection with Olivia Palermo, star of “The Hills” spinoff, “The City.”
The Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 collection features signature prints and rich textured fabrics such as suede, silk and leather, as well as an assortment of premium denim pieces.
The one-year partnership will produce four collections (spring, summer, fall and holiday), available in select Nordstrom stores, including the Honolulu store, as well as on Nordstrom.com/oliviapalermo. Pieces are priced from $68 to $448.
Bloomingdale’s to host free beauty bash
Bloomingdale’s will host a free Valentine’s Beauty Bash, with an afternoon of beauty from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday in the cosmetics department.
A henna tattoo artist will be offering heart and valentine tattoos, and shoppers can enjoy sweet treats from a candy bar. Gentlemen will be able to create a card for Valentine’s Day.
Those who spend $150 or more in beauty or fragrances will receive deluxe cosmetic and fragrance samples.
