Maui man arrested on charges of methamphetmine dealing
A 35-year-old Maui man was arrested Monday after being indicted on charges of dealing methamphetamine.
John Ng of Hana was arrested at 3:25 p.m. in Hana on charges of first-degree attempted methamphetamine trafficking, second-degree methamphetamine trafficking, and two other drug offenses. He was being held at Maui Community Correctional Center today in lieu of $150,000 bail.
Lt. William Hankins, Hana District commander, praised the community for alerting police to Ng’s activities. He said Ng was arrested earlier this year, at which time officers allegedly found a significant amount of drugs on him, and through the investigation, police determined he was dealing drugs.
