A proposal to build a public school on the grounds of a new rental housing development was rejected by the board of the Hawaii Community Development Authority on Wednesday.
A plan to develop two towers with 804 rental apartments mainly for residents with moderate incomes is still alive after a decision by a state board Wednesday. A rendering of the project proposed on state land in Kakaako is shown here.
