University of Hawaii junior Nikki-Marie Bell was named Big West Conference Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week on Thursday after scoring five goals in a sudden-death overtime victory over UC Davis on Saturday.

Bell, of Riverside, Calif., scored the game-winner with 1:42 left in the second extra period to lift the Rainbow Wahine to a 10-9 win at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.

No. 4 Hawaii is 17-5 overall and 2-0 Big West.
